A work study student of mine, Phil Prince, was putting in a few extra hours on footage review before leaving for break. He called me just a little after lunch and said, "David, I think you should get over here and look at something." When I asked what was wrong, he simply replied, "I think I just saw a ghost.

After our preliminary review of the raw footage and audio, I now realize that what we have on our hands is both profound and beyond my means to bring to the public in a way that will do it justice.

After doing some digging around, I came across a company - Hark Productions - that is nearby and seems to have a lot of experience. I'm having a meeting with the owner, Kevin Hicks, next Tuesday.

Had a long meeting with Kevin Hicks today and I think we're going to proceed with Hark. He's going to put numbers together and I'm going to begin researching some grant avenues that might help fund the project. I'm anxious to bring these events to the public, but really want to make sure we do it properly.

We now have a budget in place and it looks like we have a good chance for two different grants to cover expenses. It is likely that we will be able to this project off the ground sometime in March or April.

We're now days away from receiving the grant money to cover the production. I met with Kevin, Vickie and Brian and we discussed their other (film production) company, Chinimble Lore, handling the business of getting this project out to distributors. We're currently considering a few different titles: "Proof," "Beyond Proof," and "Paranormal Proof."

Funds are in place and we have officially started the project. Hark has brought an entire team in, including Christine Guest (who is heading up the footage team) and two audio specialists - Lonnie Park and Wayne Gerard.

Talked to Kevin today. They have the footage down to about three hours and have begun the difficult process of paring down to a more manageable length. At one point during the conversation, Kevin commented on how sad it was that the Gates family were not aware of all that was going on in the house and to each other.

Listened to some of the enhanced digital audio today and don't really know where to start. Some of it is just plain evil. It still amazes me what was going on in that house that nobody was aware of.

Watched the latest run of the program. I'm supposed to be working on my notes for the on-camera segues. I'm not really looking forward to that, but Kevin seems to think it will help as a sort of "narration."

Just shot my segues for the program. God, I hate being in front of the camera. I felt kind of stiff, but the producers said they were happy with it.

Spoke to Kevin today and all of the audio enhancements have completed. They've identified over thirty instances of EVPs & voices in the program alone. It's frightening what was going on in that house.

Was contacted by Stuart Morey at the Beyond Times today. The project still needs some tweaks, but once it's ready, I'm going to let Stuart watch it and see what he thinks.

Screened the project with Stuart Morey and other paranormal professionals. As I have stated previously, they were dumbfounded at the concentration of activity in the house over such a short period of time. "It's not surprising that that house is still unoccupied," one of them commented.

Was asked by Suart to put a piece together for the winter edition of the Beyond Times.

Program has been finalized and all legal issues have been cleared, so it is time to begin looking for a distribution outlet.
